She is an executive Governing Council Member of the National Crime Research Centre. She is a member of the Research and Development Committee and Finance and Administration Committee.
She holds a Master of Arts in Rural Sociology and Community Development, Bachelor of Arts and Higher Diploma in Psychological Counselling.
