He is an ex-officio Governing Council member of the National Crime Research Centre. He is a member of the Research and Development Committee and Audit Committee.
He holds a Master of Arts in International Security and Strategy from Kings College London and Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree. Brg. (Rtd). Warioba is the Commissioner General of the Kenya Prisons Service and formally a Brigadier in the Kenya Defence Forces.
