She is an Executive Governing Council member of the National Crime Research Centre representing academia. She is a member of the Research and Development Committee and Legal Committee.
She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya who holds a Ph.D. in Law, Master of Laws(LLM), Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B), Bachelor of Academic Laws (BAL).
She is a Senior Lecturer and Head of Public Law, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) Law School with 11 and 13 years of experience in the legal practice and academia respectively. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya
(LSK), Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDAK), East Africa Law Society and Federation of Women Educationalists (FAWE)
